How many brackets for an 80 inch shelf
Heavy Duty Floating Shelf Bracket
Hi, I ordered some heavy duty floating shelf brackets and wanted to confirm spacing between them. For an 80” shelf with heavy duty brackets at both ends, do I need an additional 2 brackets (4 total? At 16” apart) or if the brackets are less than 32” apart, can I just use 3?

We recommending using our stud mounted heavy duty floating shelf brackets every other stud on a "typical" shelf. If this shelf needs to support a massive amount of weight, then use these on every stud available. All the weight capacities are on the website and each additional bracket adds to that capacity.
