Outdoor kitchen that will have a 20 inch wide wooden shelf used for eating, what type of brackets do I need?
L Countertop Bracket
Will be mounted 2 inches down from the counter top, length of the shelf is about 12 feet. How many brackets would I need?

For a 12' shelf we'd recommend around 9 brackets at minimum to allow for one bracket every 16". An additional bracket or two may be needed in order to ensure the shelf is properly supported across the entire length. As for the type of bracket that will depend on the construction of the wall you're attaching them to.
