What should the overhang length be from end of bracket to front of countertop?
Heavy Duty Floating Shelf Bracket
I am installing a floating desktop/countertop that is approximately 2'4" x 6'. What length bracket should I purchase for something this deep? Minimal weight will be on desktop.

In general we recommend keeping the bracket within 2"-4" from the edge of the countertop or the surface you're supporting. This may vary with the material you are using so please consult your countertop specialist if you are concerned about the strength of the material you're using for your surface.
