Can I use a 30" bracket for a 41" shelf of 1 5/8" poplar? Floating Shelf Bracket
We are installing a 41" floating shelf (over tile) in the kitchen to hold some glassware, a couple of recipe books and decor. The shelf is 42" long, 10" wide and 1 5/8" thick. Since the total weight will likely be under 200 lbs, would a 30" bracket suffice? Thanks.
